TOO Long!!!!

It's been a long time since I've posted so sit down, and read when you have time. Early in September Bob and I went to Utah for Emily's blessing. It was very fun and we spent lots of time with Kaya and Logan. We took them to the county fair one day and had a great time looking at all the animals and eating sno cones. Dad even let them ride some of the rides, it was really fun to watch them. Logan is a dare devil! We let him and Kaya ride this car ride that went in a oval and on the corners it whips you around and he laughed and laughed. Then he wanted to do it again! Kaya rode a big slide instead of the car the second time. When she got to the top she was a little nervous and one of the workers helped her down gently! I was with Logan and I had the camera so we did not get to see her face but Bob said it was very funny! Logan fell off the steps while waiting in line and ended up with a raspberry on his cheek. One day we took Kaya and Logan to Orem to see my sister. That was nice as I had not seen her in a few visits.

The blessing was great. Aaron was well prepared and did a nice job. Emily looked like a little angel!

The end of September we went to Wisconsin to see #7!!! Yeah!!! Wyatt Jeffrey arrived on September 25. We arrived two days later to help with Ettoile. We flew into Minneapolis and rented a car so we could go see Damien first! He was already 6 weeks old and he is so adorable. He was very happy and it was nice to squeeze him. We also picked up a stow away in Minneapolis-----Sara and Jason let us bring Preston to Wisconsin with us. We had a great time. Preston was good for being away from his parents for the week and Jeff and Brittany were especially nice to let us bring him just after Brittany had Wyatt and being tired and sore from her C-section. What a trooper!

We did a lot of things to get Ettoile and Preston out of the house so Brittany could rest. We went to the park, K-Mart and Target, to a free kids concert that had some carnival rides open for the small kids to ride, and then we went to the childrens museum. We had a great time and loved being able to spend time with Preston as well as Ettoile. Preston fell down while we were at the grocery store and got a bruise on his forehead.

Wyatt was so small, he reminded me of Jeff and Jason when they were born. He was still one pound bigger then they were!!! He is very cute and loves to be rolled up like a burrito. Ettoile loves him and loves to touch him, she will be a great big sister.

The best ending to our vacation came when Jeff and Jason blessed their babies on the same Sunday afternoon at the Durnfords house. We had a nice BBQ dinner and then celebrated Jeff and Jason's birthday a few days early, but nonetheless it was great and I have not been with them to celebrate their birthday for years. In fact I was even able to celebrate Heather's birthday with her this year. What a treat!!!

Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for more. We are meeting everyone for Thanksgiving in Las vegas. We are so excited to see everyone together!!!

Grandbabies #5 and #6 are here, #7 to arrive soon!

August 8, our #5 grandchild and #3 girl arrived! Emily weighed in at 8.3 pounds and has a lot of dark hair. We had a great time in Utah watching the older two kids, Kaya 4 and Logan 2. We took Kaya and Logan and Preston (21 months) to Liberty Park for the afternoon. The kids had a great time then we went to McDonalds. It was a day we'll never forget! Papa was teaching Preston how to jump from the rocks into the sand box. I think Papa had more fun then Preston! Logan was jumping from the high rock which was aobut 2 feet off the ground!

August 13, our #6 grandchild and #3 boy arrived! Damien weighed in at 9.4 pounds and also has a lot of dark hair. Emily has a little more though! We can't wait to see him. We will be going to Utah in two weeks for Emilys blessing and we'll get to see Damien and Preston before they leave with Sara to meet Jason in Minneapolis where they will live the next 3+ years while Jason completes law school. We wish them well and know they will have a great time. I know Preston will miss Kaya and Logan.

I'm really not very good at "blogging" so you will have to link to Heathers and Saras blog for updated pictures. I need to spend more time trying figure this out!!!

Our short vacation!

The end of June Bob and I went to Hawaii for 4 nights. It was a long way to go for a short trip but we had a great time. We went on a dinner cruise and met a honeymoon couple from Ephraim! We hiked all the way to the top of Diamond Head Crater. We even got to see a rescue. There is an average of one rescue a week from someone who can't make the hike.It was very rewarding once you get to the top. The dirt trail was narrow. There was about 150 stairs in one section leading up to a spiral staircase. When we made it to the top we got a certficate! Whohoo!!!
The flowers are on the temple grounds andthe turtles are on the north shore.
We had a great time even though the trip was short.

Bob's "Business" trip to Wisconsin.

Ettoile's favorite movie is Veg-E-Tales!!!

In June Bob went to Wisconsin for a two day business trip and extended his visit to go see Jeff, Brittany and Ettoile. He was so anxious to get to see Ettoile that he got a $190 speeding ticket on the way! The picture of Ettoile trying to open the door is one of his favorites

Ettoile loves her papa!!!!

I am a
Snapdragon

What Flower
Are You?

"Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh."

I love Snapdragons! When I was young my grandmother had a flower garden and I would always pinch the snapdragons to hear them snap and see them open!
